Did you know much of our work is based in beautiful Snowdonia, conducting essential repairs to the footpaths?

Since COVID-19 it is believed that around 10 million people visit Snowdonia National Park each year, and with its stunning landscape and second highest mountain in the UK, it is easy to see why. But as more people walk the routes, footpath erosion is becoming a very big problem. Find out more here:

Our skilled pilots airlift tonnes of aggregate to remote and steep points on the upland terrain, meaning the heavy material can be dropped where diggers and tractors cannot reach. This work is essential to protect the delicate wildlife habitats that make this area so special.

Watch us on Countryfile, where Matt Baker and Joe Crowley visit Snowdonia to see how the heavy influx of British tourists during the pandemic is taking its toll on the landscape.
